Dr Kevin Ryle joined The Ashe Street Clinic in 2017. He graduated from University College Cork in 2005 and then worked in hospital medicine in Cork University Hospital, Mid-Western Regional Hospital Limerick, Kerry General Hospital and Mallow General Hospital.
He joined the South East General Practice Training Programme in 2007 and gained experience in a number of specialised areas including paediatrics, obstetrics/gynaecology, emergency medicine and psychiatry. During this time he also worked as a GP in Western Australia. On completion of his specialist training in general practice Dr. Ryle became a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners in 2011. He has been working as a GP in the South East since then. He also has a Diploma in Obstetrics and Women's Health, a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry and a Certificate in Diabetes Care.
His areas of special interest include Diabetes, Minor Surgery, Joint Injections and Men's Health.
Dr Ryle is a native of Tralee and returned to Kerry with his young family in 2017. When time allows, he plays the guitar and he is currently learning how to play the saxophone. He enjoys any pursuit that involves being outdoors particularly golf, fishing and spending time by the sea.
