General Practitioner
Dr. Soffe joined the practice in 2004. She graduated from University College Dublin in 1998 and is an associate fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. She trained in the Mater Misericordiae, Beaumount, Our Lady's Crumlin, Waterford Regional and Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospitals. She also has a diploma in Women's Health.
Special areas of interest include orthopaedic disorders, joint injections, sports injuries, women's health including contraception, fertility and STD screening and she is a registered cervical smear-taker. She is a mother of two and has been involved in both costume design and performing with Tralee Musical Society for the past 6 years. She is also an avid Dublin football and hurling supporter which makes for interesting times in late August and September each year! She has taken up road running in the last 3 years and has recently completed her first marathon.
Dr Soffe, having provided a menopause service for over 5 years at The Ashe Street Clinic, has recently received her Advanced certificate of the Principles and Practice of Menopause care.
She is one of only nine Menopause Specialists recognised by The British Menopause Society in Ireland and the only one in Kerry. She is providing individualised care to women through their menopause including expertise in the management of complex cases.
